Soubetsukai episode 2

The first soubetsukai attended this year was..the Toyohashian's soubetsukai.
Unfortunately, the majlis fell on the same day with Hiroshima's soubetsukai. Nobody made me choose..haha..kebetulan I was in Toyohashi, plus it has been a long time since I met friends there and most of them whom I close with were among who were celebrated. Sedih betul ramai yang sudah mahu pulang (by now, most of them are maybe already home).

This soubetsukai sangat happening..siap ada theme black and white lagi.
There are games and lotsa food!!Yours truly tak buat apa pun..bawak bread pudding jek..hehe..
And the fun part was, the lucky draw session.
Actually it supposed to be called 'partial lucky draw':p coz although your named was called, but if you could not answer the question, your 'lucky' akan di open to next person.hehe..
That's happened to me..
My name was called and the question was...I have to give the meaning of kanjis which are shown on the slides.
The person before me got them wrong, that's how my name was called next. When the first person kind of failing to answer that, I told the other girls, if it was me, don't bother to call..I know not a single kanji in this world >,< soon after that my name was called :/ How ironic.
The emcee then was kindhearted to let me get a 'talian hayat' because she knew I absolutely could not answer the questions >,<
So, my husband was the saviour, and I don't care the money was still mine:P keke...
Arigatou sayang!! Lol XD.

Well, ok. I did not bring my camera that night. hehe..only those I found in my phone:) full with..babies' pictures :D Like!
I was hoding a real baby okay..nampak macam babydoll jual kt kedai kan..comel T__T

More babies :D

Soubetsukai...episode 1.

In Japan, April is consider the business new year. So, in March people will be busy for account closing also submission of end year reports.
Other than that, March is the month of graduation as well as month 'orang berhenti kerja'. Di Jepun, nak berhenti kerja pun ada masa yang sesuai also for cari kerja..
Because of all these, March is the month full with...SOUBETSUKAI (Farewell party).
Maybe the rows of soubetsukais have made me busy this month, hence lack of updates.

Let's start with the recent soubetsukai I attended. It was my department's; the surgery dept.

Our department parties are always held here; The sky lounge of the Rihga Royal Hotel. Awesome view from the 32nd floor of the hotel tower:)

Farewell gift to Nakata sensei who is transferred to Onomichi General Hospital..bye2.

Yours truly.
Ok, gambar seterusnya adalah gambar-gambar makanan..lol XD

Mix of seafood and mushrooms in tomato sauce kot..sedap >,<

While others are having meat, I was specially served with fish:D

Green soba..sama mcm MAS.haha

Dessert mystery. Nak cakap pudding..macam mousse..nak kate mousse mcm pudding sikit. Tapi yang pastinya..ichigo itu sgt manis >,<

This is my starter. I makan satu slice je. That's cheese platter. I don't eat cheese like this >,<
All of the above food costs RM400..luckily, I don't need to pay. Thank God..Oh, I never has to pay for any event I attended. I think it's fair enough for I guess most of the money will go to the alcohol.

My quick update ends here. See you when I see you :D

p/s: the 'oishiiest' sushi adelah sushi hotel.

My favorite day in March; The White Day *grin*

In Japan, during valentines, instead of the boys giving present to the girls (as we know the way it supposed to be), the girls are those who have to give. Hey, but in here valentine's means more than that. Giving chocolates to the opposite sex is now became a social obligation. Don't ask me more about it but it is a Japanese way of celebrating valentine's.
To make this celebration more interesting, region like China, Taiwan, Korea and last but not least, Japan came out with their own unique celebration, which I assumed does not associated with any religious beliefs, called The White Day.
I bet those of big fans of Japanese stuff, should know this days well huh.
I got this from wikipedia;

"On White Day, the converse happens: males who received a honmei-choco (本命チョコ?, "chocolate of love") or giri-choco (義理チョコ?, "courtesy chocolate") on Valentine's Day are expected to return the favor by giving gifts. Traditionally, popular White Day gifts are cookiesjewelrywhite chocolate, white lingerie and marshmallows.[1] Sometimes the term sanbai gaeshi (三倍返し?, literally, "triple the return") is used to describe the generally recited rule that the return gift should be two to three times the cost of the Valentine's gift.[2] "

Then all made sense to me. No wonder I didn't just gets chocolates, I did get many other stuff too ^_^
Here I share some of my collections of yesterday:P LOL XD

the sweets.

Our most favorites..we were jumping like a kid when we opened this:P keke..

The famous Hiroshima butter cake-according to them. Lol XD
Honestly, all of the above gifts cannot be measured with gifts I WILL GET (hopefully) from the one I LOVE MOST (hint:hubby). and..yes i still won't celebrate valentines:P

p/s: Adoiiii...besnya white day :D

Paper bag: How it was easily made.

Anda semua masih ingat entry 'nikah doorgift'? which shows my nikah goodies packed in pink paper bag?
in which I promised to show you all the way to fold it? err yes..about 2 years ago??:S

Gomennasai! *tunduk kuat-kuat selame 15 minit di situ*

Anyways, tadi I ter're-publish' my wedding album in facebook *_*
Not long after that, my friend asked me about that pink paper bag:P
And suddenly I had the urge to pay my entry debt about the bags which I owed so many of you which I am much convinced...dah selamat kahwin dah pun...*Gomen ne T____T*

So, it happened that I have some extra wrapping papers here in my office. I just bought a nice sellotape too :P
The folding only took me about 2 minutes to accomplish.
So, I think I got no more reason to postpone it. Here we go ^_^

Goodie bag lipat sendiri tanpa perlu mengukur

1. Lipat any wrapping paper of your interest kepada 8 bahagian yang sama.

Lipat horizontally dulu into two parts.

And lipat sampai jadi gini..senang kan?

2. So now, you ada 8 petak kan? That's to make 4 bags. So, every 2 petak represent one bag. So, cut out 2 petak together like below.

2 petak yang dah di gunting keluar.

3. Next, pertemukan the two ends di tengah-tengah n selotepkan (untuk hasil yang lebih kemas, use double-sided tape)
So, you got a hollow shape gini.
 4. Next, get the most bulky gift you have to be used to budget the tapak (usually only needed for the first time, after that you will be so pandai agak:])
*This step is important as it will determine the size of the whole bag.

So, mine that day, the bulkiest was a box of tat nenas. So the lebar about this la. I have also a small yaasin book and tasbih. Both have no concern for the tapak:]

So, lipat ketat-ketat :]
 5. Lipat tapak cantik-cantik and kemas-kemas just like you wrap a present:) The ukuran tapak previously will give a fair adjustment for the height and lebar tepi juga.
Lipat tepi dulu kuat-kuat.

and close the other side. Seal every sisi with selotape.

Lipat tapak tu macam ni.
 6. Now, kita buat sisi bag pula.

Just lipat both ends ke tengah macam ni. Lebarnya ditentukan oleh tapak tadi ^_^
 7. Kemaskan sisi.
Now, kembungkan bag anda. You will see something like this. ALmost done right?? ^_^

You all akan dapati lipatan sisi will be somehow not well defined. So, just press nicely according to the lines.

Then you'll get a well defined bag lines ^_^
 8. Hiaskan. Ini terpulang pada anda. Di sinilah anda boleh menjadi kreatif and mencipta keunikan :)
Last time, I just seal my bag with a ribbon. This is also a trick for a good finishing for the whole ensemble, also save time and cost! ^_^V

*Tadi I ukur, my bag's measurement is about 11.5cm x 7cm (tapak), 23cm (height-unfold).

Paris River Cruise: Bateaux Parisiens

Let's write something in here shall we?
To write a mindful entry..sorry, I just don't have the energy for that :(
Therefore, I will provide you with another boring review:(

My idea of travelling with my LDM-husband-whom-I-just-met-after-separated-for-months, was very simple; I just want to walk hand by hand with him, getting lost in a total strange place together without any concern in the world. Trying food in a place wherever we ended up following the direction of heart. Travelling is much more about discovery. Sometimes, we don't know what are we going to discover and it must be something that are totally foreign to us. Discovery that was beyond our imagination, are those that are priceless.

But of course people around us keep throwing us ideas of what to do. I really appreciate it, really.
Almost all, all, assumed we are going to Disneyland, Paris.
Honestly, we never, never ever discussed about wanting to go there. I don't know why..maybe we had had enough of Disneyland in here?hmm..

Among them, my MIL kept reminding us to go to the Paris river cruise.
I'm sure you guys also will think of this whenever Paris is mentioned, right?
Well, we did not ever wanting to do that. Never in the list. Lol XD.
But since my MIL kept saying that cruising is a must to do in Paris, then we felt the obligation to do that.
Trust me, she's always right. Lol XD.

We only had time for cruising on the final night. It was like..finally.hihi..
By that time, we knew Paris like the back of our hand dah..lol XD.
Like the other evening, we had a short break on the roof top of our hotel, immersing ourselves with the stunning view of Paris under the 'orangish-sky'.

The sun is about to set:)
According to our hotel reception (we got most info from them because they speak English very well), winter is not a peak season, therefore most cruise lines will be on break. Since our hotel is located only a few steps away from the Notre Dame, we could just board the cruise there if it was a peak season. Great hotel location huh!
So, they told us to go to the Eiffel tower, the pick up point of a cruise namely Bateaux Parisiens; the only cruise line available during winter.

Our glass covered cruise.
I would consider ourselves lucky because this was the last cruise of the day:P The only night cruise available.hehe..
Oh well, you can choose a dinner cruise, or just sightseeing like us. It was one hour cruise. Trust me, it was really short and fast ending. I said fast coz there are so many things to see!!!Paris is so beautiful!!You just don't have time to take pictures, most of the time you just want to have the moment for yourself and feel grateful for the time and opportunity granted to you by Allah to see all of that:)
I thanked hubby so many times too for this gift and for his willingness to stay for years with me:') *excuse me..hehe*

The jetty..it was one deras sungai..pening kepala kalau tenung lama-lama ..hehe

My seat. We sat at the most front, oh well, we were the first to board (hubby memang besemangat kalau berkaitan dengan seating -__-"). So, because it's winter kan, the boat we were on is fully covered with glass. It's like being in rumah hijau tu.
Every seat is provided with a radio connected to the chair by a wire. The radio has to be detached from the seat (like a remote in the flight-seat) and put on your ear. The instructor will teach you on how to operate the radio. The radio will tell you many stories as you cruise along the river. It was very interesting I could not afford to miss even a second to pose for a photo. Unfortunately, my radio was faulty for the english version. So, I have to change it with hubby coz he could listened to it in Japanese. Nevertheless, he was not into this educational programme as much as me -__-" Bagus jugak..so, he could snap away:)

It was started in twilight.

Slowly becoming night:)

The longgggg building of what else..the biggest museum in the world, The Lourve. Patutla kami sakit kaki jalan dalam tu T___T

"N" for Napoleon.
Among many fascinating things to see; the bridges with many histories behind them.

When the cruise has over; approaching jetty, in front of the Eiffel Tower:)

The night just began. We spent another night around the Eiffel:) Getting as many image of it as much as possible before we leave the next day:)

From our experience, we learned that, we actually has made a mistake.
If you guys have plans to visit Paris someday, river cruising is one of the activity that you have to consider to do first. I tell you, cruising is somehow a way for you to be introduced to the city and helps you to get a picture of what to do first and later.
When we were on cruise, we saw much much more than we know and all sounds interesting! >,<
Oh well, I am after all not a person who lives in proper sequence and this did nothing less, but more to "sayang, we have to come back again..we haven't yet see that, that, that that (while pointing at many many more landmarks I just knew by cruising)." hehe... So, itu adalah hikmah:D

Ok sayangness, that's all for today.
Jya matta ne!
