Syaaban 20

My wedding day was in the month of Syaaban..
Masih ingat lagi penceramah di kursus kahwin pesan, "kalau boleh janganla bernikah dua minggu, seminggu sebelum Ramadhan..kasihan orang lelaki".
Faham the subnotes? Can we skip the discussion then??:P
Tapi dalam kes kami, kami tiada banyak pilihan. Hubby hanya boleh balik on that particular date sahaja hence the date. Penentuan tarikh pernikahan was so chaotic that time:P haha..but I have to admit it was kind of exciting to decide the wedding date on the very last minute:P Thus the "tangkap muat" wedding (ehem..on my side:P)..So, whatever, 10 days before Ramadhan..we have to do it despite of what people might said. Yang penting, kami bernikah :)

Well, I googled. But I googled about kebaikan bulan Syaaban..hehe..not about "Why shouldn't get married in Syaaban."
Sabda Rasululullah;"Bulan Rejab adalah bulan Allah, Bulan Syaaban adalah bulanku, dan bulan Ramadhan adalah bulan untuk umatku." " Syaaban ialah bulan untuk menghapus dosa dan bulan Ramadhan adalah bulan untuk menyucikan diri."


Banyak amalan yang kita boleh lakukan di bulan Syaaban ini (seperti puasa). Di bulan ini juga kita semua digalakkan bertaubat dan meminta keampunan di atas keterlanjuran kita. Semoga perkahwinan yang dibina dibulan ini juga mendapat keberkatan yang sama..

Mari kita sibukkan diri dengan berpuasa ye kawan2 ^_^V

Salam lovelies..

A very hectic morning for me indeed..But I love it. Within 3 hours, I had crossed Japan from North to South (Toyohashi to Hiroshima)..haha..Hebat x??=p Long story about it. Find it in another post later=)

I was told that, in Dec there will be a lot of parties held. Dept, graduate schools, organized by individuals and many more..depending on whether u noticed that or not. Oh well, in my case, I had never noticed any..All parties attended so far were told by friends met either in the hallway or in the elevator=p

At first I was annoyed..why la all asking me about party and I have to say that 'I am not invited'. Well, put ur foot in mine when you have to mention that hundreds of time in a day??Apparently, it's me who had never check my hiroshima-u.ac's e-mail T_T..

Oh do not worry, I had never missed any yet..except because I chose not to attend it (oh, let's put the story in another post=p)

Although..party sounds great...especially when they came 3 days in a row, but when it comes to the food served..err..attending parties will be just about meeting people and representing your country (T_T..no fun at all when the part representing country tu T-T..)

Talk about food..

There are not many muslim resided in here, the Hiroshima City. Most of them lived in the countryside of Saijo, where the main campus is located. As we all know, most people came to Japan to learn technologies. So, those who lived in Saijo won't have much problems dealing with halal foods and place to perform the prayers.

In Hiroshima City..the number of Malaysians in total, FOUR. and two of us are muslim. The other muslims in here are Indonesians (majority..yeah..so MAJOR), Bangladesh, Iran and UAE.

I believe the knowledge about what you can or cannot eat in Saijo are much well spread than in Hiroshima City. I think this is because their muslim community is larger which then facilitate the sharing of knowledge. Unlike here, most people came alone..clueless at day first. Students in Kasumi campus usually came unprepared..me will be the worst case with zero knowledge in nihongo...plus too dependent on my hubby!

When he sent me here, he taught me about food.

He always tells me this; "Remember to take care of you shalat and what you eat."

Because I was so stupid..I never be able to remember the kanji writing of the ingredients that is forbidden for us, muslim. And yes, most of the foods contains those ingredients.

p/s: But I think it is just not me who's got problems remembering kanji right?? T_T..

Can you guys catch some of the words...??

The book that I have to carry every time with me. Have to carry this until I had truly memorized all the words.

I hope by putting this up, my friends in here would be more alert on what they consumed. I must say, in a way that I am lucky that I have somebody telling me this.

Oh, another thing is..all yamazaki bread are haram.

So, in conclusion..as for the conveniency, I'll give 19 stars out of 10..food pleasure??we still have to survive for our own pleasure. even though my japanese friends here said that my life is difficult..but I saw it as fun and tricky. Take it as a challenge and u'll find satisfaction with it. Ganbarre!

Salam ladies..

Another post again..hihi..after long silence..hah amek ko!=p

I think I owe lots of posts. tsk2..I know2..I'll try to review the comments again and trying to refresh back what I had owed u guys=p one of them was pink paper bag=p lol! SCR had posted her version..naseb baek..still, I owe my version kan??T_T

Dulu2..I had a dream to share with you guys wedding presents which was not listed in the wishlist, but very useful indeed=)

Also, I had promised one of the reader about 'ciri2 suami igauan' which I read from a book. This book is one of our wedding present. we could not remember who gave us the book T_T..missed the card already T-T..But, we really appreciate it.

During my housewife period, I managed to read most of the contents.

One of the topic attracted me was..'ciri2 suami igauan mengikut syariat Islam'. Before this I thought only a few ciri2 je for you to find in a man to make him a husband. Apparently, ade byk lg..

Wedding gift..buku panduan for each of us=) Honestly, we never buy any motivational book like this before this=p not even think to buy. and didn't even think about having it as wedding present.

Characteristics to be a good husband. If your husband does not fulfill the list, he can always change to the better=) If your husband is all of the list..Alhamdulillah..

I was so excited to read this part..and starting to analyze my husband..I was so 'frustrated' as he fulfills all the list T_T..But deep down I am sooo happy..(he is too good to be true T_T)

Merenjis.Boleh ke??

I think I got food poisoning kot. I am feeling nausea since morning. In fact I dreamed about having nausea and bloated. I cannot think of food right now or I'm gonna throw up.

Oh, no...it's not the baby YET.hehe..

I mmg cannot eat junkfood yg byk n also junkdrink=p Lol!!But I was so stubborn and I ate those for my supper. Quite a lot..cz FYI, japanese junkfood sgt2 oiiishiii (sedap). n also the drink. I am kinda of addicted to it T-T..

The good side of me feeling nausea rite now is..I'm gona stop feeling addictive as this nausea is so x bes T_T

Ok, let's begin with the topic.

Merenjis.

Will you guys do merenjis in ur ceremony??

At first, I refused to do so. Because..a lot of my friend said it is against Islam. I kept in my heart all the way that I won't be having merenjis ceremony. And I know my mom will no be agreed to my idea.

I talked to my mom about this.

She said, she wants to do it even though I refused. She said, the most important is our niat.

She also said, if we think of imitating other religion from the start, thats where will get the sin.

So, I agreed.

As my friends know me. I am a person who is not really warak (in apperance I must say..cz I wouldn't tell how warak my inside is).

However, I tried to do as much as I cud to not neglect any of my duties towards Allah s.w.t.

Especially when it comes to my wedding day. I don't want the start of my new journey to be full of faults.

I did googling about this topic.

One of the answer that helps clearing my mind was from here which says..

Perarakan, pelamin dan persanding yang dilarang ialah apabila pasangan pengantin melakukan beberapa perkara yang dilarang oleh Islam seperti membuka aurat, bersolek, menunjuk-nunjuk kemewahan pakaian, barang kemas dsbgnya. Ia juga termasuk dalam kategori membazir.
Jika pasangan pengantin berpakaian seperti kebiasaan asalkan kemas dan menutup aurat dan maka tidak ada salahnya untuk bersanding. Ianya adalah sepertimana orang biasa berpakaian kemas dalam kehidupan harian mereka ke pejabat, majlis dsbgnya.
Tepung tawar dan tabur beras kunyit adalah dari budaya hindu dengan kepercayaan ianya dapat menyelamatkan pasangan drpd sebarang nasib buruk atau gangguan makhluk halus. Ia sekarang ini menjadi adat kebiasaan masyarakat melayu tanpa mengetahui sebab-sebab di belakangnya. Mereka melakukannya bukan kerana memohon perlindungan tetapi sebagai menyerikan majlis.

Justeru hukumnya adalah haram jika dilakukan sebagai satu cara memohon perlindungan, harus jika ia adalah sekadar penyeri majlis tanpa apa-apa maksud lain di sebaliknya.
Diketahui bahawa sesetengah pihak melarang hal-hal di atas kerana ia bukan berasal dari budaya Islam. Hal ini diakui namun perlu diingatkan bahawa Islam tidak melarang sebarang adat dan budaya selagi ia tidak mengandungi unsur-unsur haram di dalamnya.

Photos of us during merenjis. I found it fun. I wud consider this one of the way we meet each other's family members one to one.hehe..And they usually wished us personally during merenjis tu.

Oh, my merenjis only contained bunga rampai and air mawar (tipu punye). Cz my mom wanted to minimize the imitation to other culture. Thank you mom!;)

Hukum Ukiran Inai

Salam lovelies..
I've been telling everyone that i don't wanna apply any inais. Cz I don't like d colour. Maybe becz d colour is orange kot..n i'm not a big fan=p if it's pink maybe i will wear it on everyday basis=p haha..

So, I post about me will not b wearing any inai on my fb wall. Got so many responses. Most of them didn't understand y do i wanna make things difficult..urgghh..

A few of them said to me tht I shudn't b worried cz ukiran inai is HARAM..

During that time, for me it's a very gud point to tell my mom later (when surely i'll be forced to apply).
But, I was thinking..if it is haram..n y alllll (in purata la..) brides applied inai rite?

So, i googled.

There's so many discussions about this. Some said it is definitely haram and dilaknat if v ukir inai (cz it's like tattoo..), some said it harus..

So, I decided to visit the Portal Rasmi Fatwa Malaysia.

Based on their muzakarah, hukum memakai inai adalah harus...
For inai ukir, as long as is it based on the plant's element, then it is ok.

So, now I am little convinced to apply inai ukir...=) n i want it like this;p
