This morning I received quite an extraordinary numbers of e-mails asking about my wedding stuffs.

One of them requested to see more closely my wedding dress punya lengan baju :P haha..

BIL got married

I told my friend that I cannot make it on this one Sunday sebab my BIL is getting married.

He replied..who is Bil??

I was like...face palm:|

Therefore, pre note here..BIL means..brother in law:|

My return to Malaysia in the last summer was not purely for raya..

Some part of it was because, the brother in law is getting married.

Well, we have heard about him wanted to settle down for so long...hehe..even before I got married:p 

Finally the day arrived...

Cut the story short, let`s start with the solemnization.

The akad and reception were held in one place, different hall. Therefore, overall all events were for me, done really nicely. If there`s any hiccups, I, as the guest of the day didn`t really seem to notice. For me, it was one perfect solemnization event. I was so happy for both of them.

The bride. She had the seri. She was wide smiling all day!

Welcome speech by the bride`s atuk with nikah dais as the background.

Three of the above are just few hantaran from her. I am so liking it >.< I guess it was solely due to the red roses and malay elements injected to it..Yeah..I am biased like that:P

Some of the hantaran for her. Our side chose purple as the theme with pink as additional flavor. All hantaran consist of expensive items >.< !!

Immediate family..Those who could attend. Definite sgt that I cannot wear hijab gaye gitu >.<

Seriously..I couldn`t fit the whole dais in one screen...Dais was tremendously pretty!!

As I was just about to eat, my phone rang. My brother already downstairs waiting for me. I gotta rush to see my love:)

My favorite dress!

Ok, now I would like to reveal my favourite dress of all the dresses I wore.

Among the 3 dresses, I love my baju bersanding. The creme color one (my dream wedding dress mmg kale krim pon=p)

However, I must admit that the execution of this dress was only 90% accurate. I can show you so many weaknesses which if you guys notice it, the baju will look ugly.

I decided to have a one piece dress to help me (konon2) looks taller la kan. haha..

As you can see, the tailor divided the dress into two parts, the top and the bottom (which I could not accept!).so, cacat dahla kt pinggang tu. I was ok with that. So, we can cover that with an embellishment. But becoz of.. she did a VERY last minute job, the embellishment tu gube riben je??!!!sabar je la..I really hope it looks fine in the picture=(

Because I love this dress sooo much, I chose to wear a short veil. I do not want the veil to cover the baju too much.

Another thing, I also put round buttons byk2 kt blakang baju ni=p huhu..I hope my OP ade amek gamba blakang cz my unofficials manela reti nk notice this small2 things kan. Pray hard!

Btw, baju ni sgt berat..look at the train;p

train does gives u beautiful outdoor shoot tau. Go with train!^_^

The veil from the front. And don't forget to let it loose so u can play with the veil more.hihi..

From the picture, u can see that I was wearing a gold set for everything. I didn't know that it's rare for modern bride (my mak andam has to buy new accessories cz silver accessories doesn't match my dress). However, I think.. I was still looking gud aite (perasan!=p)??

To bride yg pakai tudong, please wear anak tudong with a tighter grip. As u can see, my tudong terok larinye..I don't blame the anak tudong la..haha..seriously, my tiara n veil was not that heavy that they cud pulled my tudung. My case ni becos I was laughing n moving too much kot..T_T

Again, hoping for the OP to do something about that=(

Some people complained for my plain awning. I wore a plain awning's tudung in purpose. Cz I do not want to be overwhelmed by bling2 on my head. If I cud, I wanted a less complicated veil to go with the dress. The w-planner promised to make a new one during our discussion tu..tp haremm..takpe..my looks still acceptable=)

Okeh, after all long stories about my sanding's dresses, here I wud like to write about my nikah outfit pulak.

My nikah outfit was actually yg sgt last minute. Cz suddenly my w-planner refused nk buat T_T

skati je kan..I was told so in 2 weeks before the day.

However by the help of my MIL, they made the baju jugak. I don't know how my MIL did that=p

The baju was fine. All ok. Except the kain a lil bit longgar. I did tried the baju on 4 days before the day. But the tailor didn't do anything about that until my nikah day. If I was a bridezilla, I'll sure will call her and ask her to come straight!!

Still, the baju was fine je.

Walking to the surau. I was walking so fast cz I was late to get married=p The surau is just in front of my house=p ahaha

Hijab styles

It is past 1.5hrs since berbuke puase time. My hubby still hasn't home=( huhu..

so while waiting for him, here another post for u all.

Hm..if u all can remember, another thing that makes me pening is tudung. Until the wedding day itself, i haven't decided on the style.

I think d hijab style for my wedding was basically determined by fate.

Mcm ni..all my 3 make up sessions, all done in rush.

For my nikah, the MUA came in late!plus i have to perform zohor first. So, we just got exactly 1 hour to finish everything.

However, becoz of he arrived late, we had a 40 minutes session je. And at 230 mcm tu, ,y aunts dh bising2 asking me to siap cpt cz tok kadi is waiting!!waaa...

dah x sempat, I just grab tudung bawal n wore it like i wears it everyday T_T...huhu..

the MUA put the labah2 (which i pesan i dont want...) so I ask him to hide it inside my veil. haishh...So, that's the story.haha..that's y my tudong senget2 T_T..

The tudung that I wore during solemnization-tudung bawal pakai hari2. LOL!

Next, my recpetion tudong. Again, my MUA arrived quite late T_T..

The original plan was, I wanted to wear a chiffon tudong together with ariani's as inner. BUt since v r sooo late again, I just have the time to only wear Ariani je T_T...

Lucky me, I was still looking gud in anak tudong=p ahaha..

Finally, majlis bertandang.

The look was totally out of my list!

This time the MUA came in time. But, I have to wait for the baju pulak. The MUA finished his job at 1130. SO, i have to wait for more than an hour for the dress to arrive. While waiting, maybe the MUA tu feeling guilty, he pon did experiment on me. That's how I got my sanggul tinggi. I was really scared cz I was not sure whether the sanggul tinggi suits my face.

After all, it looks fine in the photos. Take a look.

Three different looks without I actually planning it. That's why I said its all determined by fate. However, alhamdulillah..all looking good (at least in my eyes).

Promised my fiance that he'll get a pretty bride. Hope I did fulfilled the promise..

I wore an unfinished wedding dress!!!

It's so hot in Japan.How can u live in a room with 36degree in temperature T_T...huhu..I looked like godzilla already. All got dried up=( But it's ok. I have fun being a housewife to a VERY BUSY husband T_T

Next update, I wud like to reveal about my darkkkk secret.haha..I think only my bride's maid cud understand how disaster my baju was.

FYI, we have bought the kaen 3 months before the date.

I kept calling them asking for updates of my baju.

Until a week before my wedding (it's on Monday), the tailor asked me about the design!!!After 3 months of discussion now she said that she cudn't remember. She blamed me for telling her so early. Sabar je la..

But I think the baju bertandang is more disastrous!She only started sewing it on Friday evening (while my wedding will be held tomorrow afternoon).

So, v hv to ulang alik checking on the baju. That night we went actually to PICK UP the dress. But the dress was so briefly sewed with pins all over. Even the cutting was not according to my body. At 12am, we still didn't get the dress.

The next morning, we went to fetch the dress. It was 9am.

The baju looks exactly like last night even I had done the fitting last night.

I saw the tailor was sewing another w-dress.I was so mad!

She promised to send the dress to me at 1030 at the hall (apparently the hall is not that far from the boutique).

I should be walking into the dewan at 1230pm.

It was 1240 that the dress arrived. And to my shock, the dress looked exactly like last night. No ammendments made and no progression noticed.

I just wore it dgn penuh kesabaran. My MUA was so angry that she has to apply like hundreds of pins so that the dress will stick well on my body.

So, now you know that I was walking into the dewan with a brief sewed wedding dress!!!

But, thank god. I was looking great even though I was walking with pins all over=(

According to my design, the top part should be patched with heavy beadings because my kain is plain. Nah..it's only a drawing at the end=(

Like pelamin on my side, pelamin on his side was also ruined by the decorator...

No words can describe how much I hate this decorator for ruining all our majlis. Hope our OP can work their magic on the photos.

Oh well, yes, I did get discounts for their service cz they themselves knew how bad their service was.

Yes, I am in Japan, doing my duties as a wife and also a housewife=p ahahaha..

This is the first day I'm doing all the chores required.

Oh well, FYI, i have to start from zero, i.e. developing a so called a kitchen=| (my god..i don't know what my husband ate for the past 6 years he's here T-T)..

Think I'll stop here babbling about my life here (at least for this post=p).

I wud say 'many' people asking me to update my blog.haha..i know2..i pon can't wait to write the story in here.

However, it comes with a warning.

My wedding is not a dream wedding. It's an example of a simple wedding with lots and lots of mistakes. Oh well, since I am not that into a complicated wedding, I guess that's what I get.

For the first post on the post-mortem (=p), I wud like to write about my reception's dress.

I was so surprised, whenever my frens take turns to take pictures with me as pengantins, most of them will asked:

"is this the baju yang ruined tu??ok je tgk"

LOL!

Mmg la darlings oi..cz the tailor altered everything already (but still unfinished at the top part T_Y). The tailor tu mmg kene blacklist la jgk! (oh, it's the w-planner's tailor-they all were cursed=p)

I think most of you had read about my ruined dress.

So, they got another one day to make the changes. At first, they refused to follow my instruction. They said that I am petite and nobody else will fit my size later. So, they made my dress in medium size (I know, it doesn't make any sense. They better make one in size S instead!y la susah2 nk skip satu size n u have to keep all the remnants at all parts of my body!)

After all the discussions, they still refused. I know, I also could not understand y la these people mcm stupido sgt. It's my money!u shud do according to my BODY!

I didn't know what else to say (while looking at my suddenly turning bulky body in the mirror). So, I was crying T_T

My mak andam was there. He had helped me a lot in talking to the tailor which happened to be his colleagues jugak la. I heard they argued. It's 2 days before the day. And I shouldn't do the wait and see. So, my sister and me left the room and headed home. On the way back, my fiance called. He heard me from the phone (that I was crying la).

Tell you guys..his baju lagi terok. They were supposed to tailor a new baju for him. But turned out they pinjam from other boutique!!!My fiance pon turned to the blue monster n called his mom.

Ok, to cut things short, the next day I went to the kedai. My w-dress suddenly turned out to be like this:

The tailor had gotten rid of all the spare kain yg dilipat2 si semua tempat (siot!).

Then the baju fitted me well=)

So, I guess, guilty pleasure really works (eventhough they keep ungkit about me crying T_T).

That night I met my fiance at the boutique (he just landed and tomoro tros nikah T_T). His baju mmg agak terok la kan. And I warned them about him who is soooo fussy (fussier than us girls kot). My fiance told them to tailor everything balik according to the design that I gave. And of course they have to do all that in one day.

Because of the guilty pleasure, finally our dresses were fine (in my eyes, they are pretty even though some part were unmatched).

I think this post has gotten too long.

my deja vu

Salam loves..
my eyes dh swollen cz of too much crying. I was bursting into tears when I tried on my reception dress. The dress was hancus!!I felt like wearing a costume! It's unforgiven!

I took a wedding package, with a new dress included. I know the dress wont be fully mine. But, the tailor shud make according to my size.If ever she wanted to be creative, I shall not looks like a mascot wearing mono size of a mascot!

I think I really understand how Aim feels when her nikah outfit was ruined by the tailor=(

Really hopes they'll realize how much I hate to wear it when they see me cried=( I didn't deliberately pour my tears..it's just happen!So embarrased when everybody saw me cried becoz of the baju. And yet they said..it's late already..nothing much they can do..while I sent all d designs, the kain in early May.

Now, who's to blame??

But, knowing mysef, finding someone to be blamed is just waste of time.

Now, I need plan B.

30 minutes catch from W-Exhibition, MV

Went to wedding exhibition at d MV exhibition centre.
Oh, I alwiz lov to go on friday cz less sesak..n my mud will b better (remmber, cz I'm not a bridezilla=p).

I don't really know my intention here. Just wanted to scare mysef a bit about my decision (xde keje=p). even though i already knew the f-ness of my w-planner T_T..

eh..still..I was looking for doorgifts and also d paper bags (sume yg bekaitan doorgifts la).

Usually, I don't find wedding exhibition that useful to me. But somehow, I did find this time around interesting. The bajus are all gojes this time. The gojesness first of all came from RinsSuzana. The bajus wer all gojes la i tell u. menyesal pulak x xurvey kt dorang suggoh2 T_T

Depan RinsSuzana tu ade booth laksa shack??erkk..no..they are providing pulut kuning service (to replace tiers cake) which are getting popular these days..take a look at some of d collections which I love=)

This was made of .8.5kg pulot..byknye..i just ingat nk buat sendiri 3 tiers pulut kuning made of 5kgs=( huuu..xleh2..
see..they put roses..fresh tau..mesti mkn pulot ade rase rose sket=p

If x suke tibe2 ade bunge ros tu..try this. I think this one is nicer..they decorate it with edible decos (i mean yg comaptible with pulut kuning taste). In the middle tu rendang tok..

If you wud like to try different thing, go for pulut hijau!erkk...don't worry..this pulut is still gud..they r still x expired=p hahah

for me, i wud say..no no..cz v do pulut kuning cz it is kuning aite??err..i dono.wont go for this definitely. oh, the red thingy tu is pulut oso. They r coloured with rose colouring. rm255 kot..i cant remember=p

Hijab style for the bride

Oh, lg sebulan??i can't believe this. Time runs soo fast. Last year, i didn't know that I'm gonna get married in 2010 T_T if i knew this, i must go raye like crazy=p n of course i'll learn how to cook rendang..(ye, saye maseh x penah msk gulai apetah lag rendang T_T)

ok2..back to the topic.

It's about the hijab (yeah..i know..aaagaiiinnn). Haha..I am so berat hati to wear tudong awning T_T..
it's not that i'm not comfortable..
it's just based on d fact that i love being different.
But, the risk is whether it works, or u'll look weird..for this one??looking weird on ur WEDDING DAY!!!
I don't wanna take d risk.So, i google. If there's a manual for us in choosing veil, there's also manual for choosing hijab.

Anyone who's still stuck thinking for d rite hijab..try read this. It helps me in making decision=p

Example: I know one of my fren ni yg lebey kurang je 'tinggi' ngan i. So, I was referring to her wedding je. Lucky me, her wedding day was one of the most beautiful event I have ever seen.She pon mmg pretty=)

Ok, br terfikir about my veil T_T haha..(1 month left br nk tefikir T_T)

During my meeting with our wedding planner, my FMIL had requested for a long veil for bertandang. But, my wedding planner arrogantly said "die ni pendek..nnt lg nampak pendek".. then my FMIL pon senyap (but, me mmg geram la...). I didn't get angry becoz he/she said that I am 'pendek'. Cz it's a fact. I can live with that. In fact I had live with that fact for 25 years already. I'm ok people saying that. Seriously. What made me bengang was..d idea that he/she said about fashion were all myths!!She/he definitely got ZER0000 knowledge about fashion. And yet he/she acting that way.

Who said short people cannot go with long veil???
Even I am not majoring in fashion, I know I can fit in long veil very well. But..it has to be cut according to my proportion la..of course I cannot wear long veil meant for a big bride. It's as simple as that. So, to support my opinion on this (if this wedding planner wanna argue with me later..), I've googled, n found this article.

To petite bride out there..YES!!you can wear long veil..life is not that 'lime' after all..hehe
So, I am convinced. But, I still love heavy beadings to go with it. Then I remembered WTL. She wore long veil WITH heavy beadings too=)

Tudung decided!

Salam to all..

My mission for next week is tudung hunting!hehe..So, I have decided to just wear tudung awning. I tried to think of other fesyen tp afraid that the looks might ruin my whole life later haha (yela d photos kan to be kept forever..insyaAllah..).

I guess I have to embrace the fact that I got a very round face and only tudung awning will solve the problem=( Plus, I think I looked good in tudung awning don't u guys think??hehe..

Me on my e-day..the tudung was OK ryte??

Based on my experience, tudung nikah I wud prefer not to apply any awning.cz nnt mase d groom nk cium dahi, x sampai muncung..haha..seen a lot of my frens was like that=p So, maybe I'll wear tudung bawal je kot (prefer not actually T_T). Do u guys got alternatives to that??T_T

It's been a long tyme since my last update. Honestly, I had a lot in mind to share with u guys, but I just don't have the time and passion to write.haha..I pulak have a problem of short term memory la pulak lately.haha..so, I forgot the things that I need to write whenever I was in front of the computer T_T..gosh..Hope this is not applicable to working life T_T

Okeh, just about 1 month left until d day. I was so not in the mood. I have sometimes imagining that my bride-to-be soul had run away and I was chasing it..(mengarut kan..yesh, I love imagining things T_T) So, I do not know what to think about my wedding. I really didn't do much. But yesterday, my bestie from Vanilla and peppermint uploaded her wedding photos. It was a beautiful wedding that I could only asked for. The tent, the food, the doorgifts all were awesome. The perantin x payah nk cite la kan..they looked so cute together.hehe...Sorry guys I cannot put the link to the photos here. I would like to let the bride have the honor to do so=) So, I think we can just wait n see=p hehe

From the photos, one of the things that captured my eyes quickly was the tudungs worn for both recpetions. I was very sure that the tudungs are custom made. You can see the exclusiveness expecially when the gamba focus at perantin pompuan. haha..the beadings pon sgtla cantek..bet the price pon cantekla juge T_T..

So, I straight away sms her, asking where did she gets the tudungs. She told me to find Vispera, specialist for tudung. Y I said specialist??becz she wud design the tudung according to ur face's shape (of course), weight n oso height!!How detail that is!!For someone who's having problem finding tudungs that suit her face (like me T_T), I think custom-made tudungs will b the best option.

I did sms-ed the owner of the vispera asking for prices.hehe..most of them are rm150 and above. So, it's affordable.

I still has not put any order so far cz I am still thinking about the tudung designs that can go along with my dress. Called the tailor this morning to see how their progression so that I could decide on the tudung. But he/she said they haven't start the tailoring yet T_T all of my THREE dresses..xde satu pon die dah jahit??this wedding planner seriously asking for trouble! (yesh!another reason xde mud nk prepare wedding T_T)

Diary of a bride's maid

Salam ladies..

Sudah lame tak berblog. hehe..it's because I was not in the mood for writing;p Now, I think that I need to write about this one. My experience as the bride's maid;) People said that being a bride's maid for many times may cause us to lambat kawen..hmm..Can v believe in that?I dah jadi bride's maid quite many times dah. haha..until people called me the girl in 27dresses. Still, insyaAllah, my day will arrive in no time soon;) Jodoh tu sume ketentuan dariNya.

Last week, of course la kite sume ade byk wedding kene attend. I will always choose not to attend wedding yg outside KL, except if car pool la. but for this one, located in Ipoh, I have got to attend because I am the bride's maid;) Bertolak dr rumah at 530am. And reach there at 8. The furthest destination yg i penah drive kot.haha..Lucky me, x jem.
