Err...the bilik pengantin

Salam ladies...

Actually I am not sure whether I wanted to share with you guys my bilik pengantin. haha...Cz it doesn't looks like bilik pengantin that u guys usually see.

Since I will only be staying in the room like for two days, I just keep it minimal and the most important is practical. For me, what's the point of hiring a decorator if the looks only stays for a day. So, I just make sure the bilik was kemas n nice looking.

However, I was very sure that time that people coming wud wanna see the room no matter what reason u gave. So, I prepared something that's kind of exclusive showing that the room will be occupied by pengantin later.

The something was just a small space with pictures of us.

Ni la sudut tu..haha..just pictures of us hanging there je. I think the pictures really works la since we took pretty2 pictures=p ahaha..

So, for those who's an IKEA's regular sure are familiar with all the things shown kan??haha...I took all cheap things. So, total cost for this deco mmg x sampai rm100=p hehe..

Alhamdulillah....even so, it turned out fine in pictures. This is from the unofficial. Hope the OP will do better.

The bed. Sorry for low quality picture..see...i didn't even re-paint my room. There's crack lg on the wall..haha..For the empty wall, I just put a pink orchid je as finishing.

The bedsheet, from JUSCO during JCARD day. Mcm biase..no more than rm100 ye..

Since the back wall was plain white, our picture on the bed are mostly looking clean like this=) Just like what I have imagined;p

The langsir I bought at Pasar Pagi 2 days before my wedding. See la the materials..I bought a very cheap one, not even reach rm50=p ahahhaa..

Another empty wall was filled with small racks.Oh, sape letak kuceng burok kt situ!

Oh, there's my shoes hanging=p and u can see my dress from the mirror=p ehehe..

So, as you can see..my room was not at like bilik pengantin supposed to look. haha...I don't care, as long as it is practical and real=p

Salam ladies..

The day is getting nearer. So, I've started to think about my bilik pengantin's decorations. Of course i would like to keep it minimal. Oh, not because I love minimal look..it's just my budget on this is veryyyyyyyyyyyyy minimum T_T haha..

I don't know where to start. But, somehow, these past few weeks, people were telling me about Romantika. It's a kedai like KK deco. But..cheaper kot;p n a lil bit different. again...a lil bit..n again..cheap.haha..
Ok. went there las weekend.

So, I just went there randomly without knowing what to buy T_T
A few things that I considered to buy..but put it back. Why??cz I don't know what to buy T_T
These were the few things tht I left it there;p

lov roses..suitable to be hanged at kepale katil..or pintu..its a piece of attraction..there's piink crytal hanging (but i cudn't captured the image well T_T..) and also locengs;) rm25
Put this one back at the last minute since I got another idea suddenly T_T

Cheap yet big painting. Thinking to buy one in case that I have an empty spot in the room..

A jewellery box a.k.a gift box. Heart this one. Cz it's cheap but looking expensive=p haha..put it back cz I have already have VIP gift ready T_T..rm8

For bunga yg letak kt pelamin tu...usually they put in a big vase tu..u can get it at rm80. well decorated. u can choose flowers and they can decorate it for u=) If I knew this, I wud have been decorating my own pelamin during d e-day T-T a lot save there.

Tell u, don't take urusan menghias bilik pengantin lightly..(applicable to those yg buat majlis di rumah la). For me, I'll be having my nikah ceremony in d surau (in front of my house) and later d jamuan at my house. So, like it or not, my house wud get involved.kenela kemas ye..

In my experience, looking at my frens' majlises, even if the reception was done at dewan, the other side of the family would wanna see the bilik pengantin decoration. I don't understand why they wanna see..it's just a bedroom kan??Sometimes I heard they were criticizing the deco??They, especially the elders really take bilik pengantin seriously.

In the middle of me considering to really allocate budget for bilik pengantin, I was ter watch a documentary on Malay community in South Africa. Yes..south Africa. Their culture is more or less the same with us. The part that I love is when the groom have to provide a house for the bride. and excuse me, the house is not rented. So, to be married, a guy should be able to pay for a house for his wife!the house has to be fully furnished lg. And the bride has to move immediately into the fully furnished house after the nikah. So, during the moving, all family members will be there, checking on d housela. when everybody are inside the house, they'll check the bilik pengantin first. And there, a tok imam will cite prayers for kesejahteraan rumahtangga..So, I guess bilik pengantin ni mmg la satu mende yg seryes...I think I don't have to elaborate it longer cz for sure U guys understand rite??heheh...

Now I understand why some of my friend sacrifice portion of their wang hantaran just to buy new furnitures for the bilik pengantin, even they won't be living there after the majlis.

So, I decided to really get serious in bilik pengantin business. Even so, I don't have a big budget to really do so T_T. After a lot of thinking (xdela a lot mane;p), I think I can do something that's cheap, yet nice (Oh, please pray for this to work T_T).

My first BABY step...go to ikea, find stuffs to deco my room. Nk beli perabot mmg la x mampu ye..I'll b using what's already available. I was thinking to just rearrange everything and later put small2 things to improvise to room a bit. I hope it work.

Visit to ikea, there's a lot of cute things. Some with a very cheap price, n most of them of course la very costly T-T...I love the lamps. cheap n unique. But lamp is not in my list!T_T..Most of the things I love are orange in colour..waaaaa...how can I buy then. But, tht's great so that I cannot buy them=p haha

Okeh, to not being selfish, this is some of the ideas that I found very the cute yet cheap!

The white vase. It can fits fresh flower like shown. I was thinking to buy one and place it on top of dressing table.hehe..The vase comes in pink oso;)

More or less this flower looks like hydrangeas kan??lov d colour mix. I want to use this flower for my hantarans..tp mcm nk same mcm tunang la pulak T_T

See??these are mirrors. Very cantik to be arranged on dindings. This one I KIV je dulu;)

Bought few deco stuff from IKEA and wish she could work magic on them T_T
