Tom Yam my way

Salam dearies...

This time around, I would like to share with you guys tomyam...my way;p
ngahahha...I know2..tom yam is soooo easy to cook.
You can skip reading this post if you find it boring eh..hehe..

For the b2b yg mcm I dulu..got no recipe at all in the head, start with tomyam k. It's so easy like flicking your fingers;)

These are what you need. Actuall you can put almost any veges in. Since I got limited space to keep things and also, the portion is for my lil tummy, carrot n mushroom is more than enuf;)

In my tomyam, I used chicken. Oh..it's been a long time since I had u..chicken T_T..

First...of course panaskn minyak;p ( I was so rajin to snap all the steps;p)

Fry the garlic slices until naik bau...then pour in the chicken..cook the chicken with the garlic already.

Wait till the chicken is half cooked, pour in water (as much as u like), put in the perisa tomyam (the word hasn't crossed my mind T_T), carrot and serai..

Prepare your rice, or bihun or whatever..haha..I had yellow noodles;)

When it boils, put in the chillies, mushrooms, slices of onions (big slices) and daun limau

Siap sudah!!!This is the dish (ryori in nihongo) that my mom will cook whenever she malas;p

Ittadakimasu!!(huhuk...I don't have coaster T_T)

Happy trying ladies!!!
Will do update another ryori later...;)

The ex-B2b who's once only know how to eat and critic foods;p

Dreadful incident..indeed

Salam ladies..

One week has passed. And since then my husband was 'parasiting' his bujang fren's house for food...tsk2..All becoz he could not find the periok T_T (how lame was that?? T_T)

On the 101010, you guys must be busy fulfilling wedding invitation right??
The highway was for sure is congested.

I heard about the accident. It's so frightening. Because of one skidded bus, all the other careful drivers were gotten involved. One of the car driver is apparently the wife of my sister's friend. Her body was disassembled, and the car was twisted like a ribbon..I saw the pictures and felt so mad at the bus driver!!ishh!!!

Al-Fatihah to all the victims...

Oh, I heard the arrival of the ambulances were delayed since drivers were occupying the emergency lane..OMG!!I would consider the other..whose blocking the emergency lane is the indirect murder in this case. *sorry for being so harsh..but don't u think so?? *

Err...apologize for the out-of-topic intro;p I just..mad..

Ok, let's go straight to the topic shall we??;)

Since I have introduced my new home, I would to just jot down the moment I first experiencing Hiroshima City.
Hiroshima is a big city. Yes, very big.
I had been skeptical how 'town' is the 'town'. I told my Malaysian friends who has been living in Japan for years about this idea. And most of them said..."Don't worry...the area where you live is really 'town'".
Except my husband...
He told me that I might be feeling a lil bit down as the town is not like what I have imagined..(yes, I am the kind of person ..err..gadis bandar;p)
Apparently, my husband was correct. The town is not at all like Tokyo. My Malaysian friend here once told me this ; "I feeling like living in Alor Setar".

However, after exploring some of the place, I would say that Hiroshima City is somehow maju la jugak..even it is not like Tokyo.hehe...

Kasumi Campus (the Hiroshima City campus for Medic course), is located in the middle of their main town. My house is 20 minutes walk from there and..I am walking.haha..20 minutes walking in Malaysia was like impossible rite??But not here..it is instead favorable;)

When my friends were told that I will be living in Hiroshima, there's nothing that crosses their mind except the first atomic bomb tragedy.

Yes, I live near to that area. Hopefully, the radioactivity has fully vanished T_T

Us near the atomic bomb's remnant. The only building the government manage to preserve.
Actually there are many more leftovers after the bombing. However, the people at that time thinks it will not be good to preserve those as they reminded them of the pain. Only after all has erupted, the urge to save them started. Therefore, only one building was seen at the site of bombing. Oh, the bomb itself was dropped on the top of this building.

Here's the link for the rest of the story...It is again a story of a dreadful incident.

There's a lot more attractions around this erupted building. But they are closed at night. Will do visit again when I got time;)

Ya Allah, Please don't let death take me away in dreadful incident;(

I am now..the head of my own house

Salam ladies!!!

I don't know whose going to read this post;p
It is not at all related to wedding.ngehehe..
But I still refused to get a new blog dedicate solely for my life after the wedding;p

Gomennasai ne ^_^

Ok, FYI, I have already moved to Hiroshima City. Today will be the 3rd day I am officially the doctorate student at Hiroshima University, Japan. And it has been 2 nights I slept hugging my pillow..T_T (yeah...it's not warm as a husband's body should be T_T)

I still remember the night I was crying. It's the last night we spend together at our cozy home at the countryside of Toyohashi. I love my home despite of sometimes it smelt from the lake in front of our home;p
It's because that's the house we started our journey together. That house meant a lot to me. It's just that I am not lucky like any other brides who has more time with her husband to b spent T_T I am one of those who got married and still has to be separated T_T
Still I believe there are blessing in disguise for us ;)

We arrived in Hiroshima in 3 hours by shinkansen. That's how fast shinkansens are. I was saved from supposed to be a whole night trip by bus or car;) The price however, more or less the same with flight ticket. crap! I think I'll spend most of my scholar for shinkansen T_T

First thing we do, of course checking in into my 'will-be-a new home'.

My new home is at the Hiroshima City International House (I-House). It's not really a hostel. But, it is more like a reserved house for international student in Hiroshima. The building is under the management of the City Hall, and of course the chance of getting into the house is so thin. I got it after strong recommendation from my university and of course by luck (cz apparently there's one vacancy at the time I applied;) Syukur..)

In Japan, renting a house is a big deal. They'll make u pay even for a scratch.
Therefore, the first thing that I have to do before settling in was checking every single inch of the house. Unfortunately, I am not that kind of person who likes to go into that details=( but my husband apparently is that kind of person;) Thank God!

At first I thought everybody whose incharge of I-House are able to speak English. Turned out, only two persons are able to speak quite fluently but yet hardly to understand their accent=( I am working really hard to catch what they say right now=(

The person who assisted us to inspect the house was someone who could not speak English..
NAseb baek la my husband can speak Japanese so well T_T
So, they did the inspection together2 while I do the photo taking job;p

View of my balcony..

The kitchen..complicated btol nk jage stove ni ;(

View from the balcony...can see Mazda stadium very well;) dont have to buy a sit to enjoy the game;)
The toilet

View from my house..tht's the Hiroshima City

The study area..

That's it that I wanna share for now.
Actually there's a lot of things that have excite me and made me wanna put it in this blog. There are so many things that are so different with us especially their culture of living. Hmm...my brain got jammed whenever I want to decide which topic should be written first;p ehehe..
I'll try to share with you guys slowly and share the excitement with u;)

That's all for now. Have to attend the first Nihongo class..hmm..bet I am not allowed to doze off since there's only three students in a class T_T...

Wish me luck!!

The wife who always hopes to not wake up alone anymore=(
