BIL got married

I told my friend that I cannot make it on this one Sunday sebab my BIL is getting married.

He replied..who is Bil??

I was like...face palm:|

Therefore, pre note here..BIL means..brother in law:|

My return to Malaysia in the last summer was not purely for raya..

Some part of it was because, the brother in law is getting married.

Well, we have heard about him wanted to settle down for so long...hehe..even before I got married:p 

Finally the day arrived...

Cut the story short, let`s start with the solemnization.

The akad and reception were held in one place, different hall. Therefore, overall all events were for me, done really nicely. If there`s any hiccups, I, as the guest of the day didn`t really seem to notice. For me, it was one perfect solemnization event. I was so happy for both of them.

The bride. She had the seri. She was wide smiling all day!

Welcome speech by the bride`s atuk with nikah dais as the background.

Three of the above are just few hantaran from her. I am so liking it >.< I guess it was solely due to the red roses and malay elements injected to it..Yeah..I am biased like that:P

Some of the hantaran for her. Our side chose purple as the theme with pink as additional flavor. All hantaran consist of expensive items >.< !!

Seriously..I couldn`t fit the whole dais in one screen...Dais was tremendously pretty!!

As I was just about to eat, my phone rang. My brother already downstairs waiting for me. I gotta rush to see my love:)

Overall, the majlis was beautiful and nicely planned.

Ehehe...Just got back from nihongo kurasu...

My gloominess became double just now cz..after long chat about wanting a baby last night, just now I check..it is indeed a false alarm "T_T..

Nk study teros??bluerghh..no..

hence, blog walking..

Then, I stumbled upon a blog by Nini (I guess that's her name;p). Oh yeah, she introduced hersef as 'the bubblyme" from here.

She is looking for a material to do paper flowers.

Suddenly I remembered that I have seen the paper flowers tu and intended to post it here to share with the other b2bs.

Apparently I forgot, until I find out that some one is looking for it;p ahaha...

Okeh, my house..is like 2 minutes away from 100yen (hyakuen) shop. In this shop you'll find almost everything and 95% of it cost 100 yen. So cheap. Hence, 95% of my house is occupied with stuffs from there. ahaha..Just name it, and i can assure you that they came from the 100yen shop;p

Besides dustbins, scissor, towel, toothbrush..yadda2..which are listed in ur daily needs, hyakuen shop also sell the unthinkable stuff like this!

weee...yeah..it's flower paper;)comes in many colours. When you see closer, the flower is quite bushy and cute!Can be use as your deco for dulang hntrn or even as a corsage. However, I was thinking of something different like maybe...bunga manggar..oh yes, the bunga manggar will b tembam n bloom2..hehe

It's a DIY stuff..look at the instruction..not that difficult isn't it??one or two try outs, then you make 100 in no time;)

Oh well, of course you are not at all near to my house.

However, if you look closer to the instruction, it was actually just crepe paper folded into a fan..and kembang2 kan..cantula..hv to try n error..

err...if u guys nk kirim, I am delighted to b d vendor here;p

Aaa..I miss the moment of me DIY almost all my doorgifts;) the sakit pinggang tu priceless;p

These are the hantarans from me to him.

Again, I spare red roses for the hantarans. My feveret flowers kan..kenela utk acare kemuncak=p ahahah..

Basically, I wanted my hantaran for him to looks classic (i mean, malay classic). So, I chose to use brown trays and boxes. They are all made of engraved woods. Mixing of roses and white kemboja is also an effort to show the Malayness as well as to cause the red roses standing out.

I have a lot of shoes..but..still I am not satisfied cz I cannot buy shoes yg branded like nine west, coach and zara..wa.....cz they don't provide my size T_T (ye....inilah lagi satu penderitaan orang petite T_T). So, that's y i usually wears shoes made in Malaysia k..Eh, don't take it wrong. I love local shoes..

But, for hantarans, I want la imported shoes..Went hunting like crazy. Cudn't find the shoes that I crave for AND fit my foot. I found one yg sgt gojes!!!Tgk gamba ni...seryes like what I have in mind for hantaran. Gojes kan??uhuhu T_T (sure cik cincin petak akan tanye ktne ni..wekkk...)

Sebagai tande protes..shoes has been cancelled as one of her hantarans! T_T

I love rosses..yes I do..I think they are one of the prettiest creature I've seen. Sgtla cantek segale segi nye...Subhanallah...

So, I was thinking to use roses la for d hantarans kan. I would like to go for pink (oh, again pink is not my feveret colour ye Squarecut ring..hehe). Tp I overheard my FMIL wanted pink rosses for their hantarans nnt. It's ok. I am far from kecewe pon. Cz I still have doubt of using pink rosses during that time. So, my FMIl kind of saved me. haha..

So, what else do I like?I keep questioning this to myself (cz I alwiz hv problem in identifying my own like T_T). After thinking for quite a while..I remembered that I have alwiz said 'cantiknye' to this flower:

But this flower mcm bulky. How d decorator nk gubah ye..hm..so afraid to take d risk (cz..my hntrn decorator is oso my wedding planner - who happened to dislike trying new things T_T)

Diary of a bride's maid

Salam ladies..

Sudah lame tak berblog. hehe..it's because I was not in the mood for writing;p Now, I think that I need to write about this one. My experience as the bride's maid;) People said that being a bride's maid for many times may cause us to lambat kawen..hmm..Can v believe in that?I dah jadi bride's maid quite many times dah. haha..until people called me the girl in 27dresses. Still, insyaAllah, my day will arrive in no time soon;) Jodoh tu sume ketentuan dariNya.

Last week, of course la kite sume ade byk wedding kene attend. I will always choose not to attend wedding yg outside KL, except if car pool la. but for this one, located in Ipoh, I have got to attend because I am the bride's maid;) Bertolak dr rumah at 530am. And reach there at 8. The furthest destination yg i penah drive kot.haha..Lucky me, x jem.

The pelamin setting. The theme was gold. The bride told me that she purposely chose this setting cz she doesn't want to be swollen by overwhelmed sized pelamin. She's a petite;p

Look at the bride's dress. kebaya pendek really give the illusion that she's actually a tall lady. Nice choice kmal!

Part paling bes, mkn beradab. Tak sangke akan diberi penghormatan mkn kt sblh pengantin. So sedap. N I was damn hungry that time!yela..pagi2 bute dah keluar rumah.
Ok, gamba ni, saje nk highlight the cake, d the pedang. Nampak x??It was actually pedang samurai (yesh!Im serious!). Pedang Samurai real punya..Made in Japan. The bride has 10 pedangs like this. Haha..
Sejarahnye, the pair ni, belaja kt Jepun dulu..so, sume nye ade kaitan ngan Jepon la..haha..tp malangnye..I couldn't captured the moment they cut d cake using d pedang T_T
