Paper bag: How it was easily made.

Anda semua masih ingat entry 'nikah doorgift'? which shows my nikah goodies packed in pink paper bag?

in which I promised to show you all the way to fold it? err yes..about 2 years ago??:S

Anyways, tadi I ter're-publish' my wedding album in facebook *_*

Not long after that, my friend asked me about that pink paper bag:P

And suddenly I had the urge to pay my entry debt about the bags which I owed so many of you which I am much convinced...dah selamat kahwin dah pun...*Gomen ne T____T*

So, it happened that I have some extra wrapping papers here in my office. I just bought a nice sellotape too :P

The folding only took me about 2 minutes to accomplish.

So, I think I got no more reason to postpone it. Here we go ^_^

Goodie bag lipat sendiri tanpa perlu mengukur

1. Lipat any wrapping paper of your interest kepada 8 bahagian yang sama.  

Lipat horizontally dulu into two parts.

And lipat sampai jadi gini..senang kan?

2. So now, you ada 8 petak kan?That's to make 4 bags. So, every 2 petak represent one bag. So, cut out 2 petak together like below.

2 petak yang dah di gunting keluar.

3. Next, pertemukan the two ends di tengah-tengah n selotepkan (untuk hasil yang lebih kemas, use double-sided tape)

So, you got a hollow shape gini.

 4. Next, get the most bulky gift you have to be used to budget the tapak (usually only needed for the first time, after that you will be so pandai agak:])

*This step is important as it will determine the size of the whole bag.

So, mine that day, the bulkiest was a box of tat nenas. So the lebar about this la. I have also a small yaasin book and tasbih. Both have no concern for the tapak:]

So, lipat ketat-ketat :]

 5. Lipat tapak cantik-cantik and kemas-kemas just like you wrap a present:) The ukuran tapak previously will give a fair adjustment for the height and lebar tepi juga. 

Lipat tepi dulu kuat-kuat.

and close the other side. Seal every sisi with selotape.

Lipat tapak tu macam ni.

 6. Now, kita buat sisi bag pula.

Just lipat both ends ke tengah macam ni. Lebarnya ditentukan oleh tapak tadi ^_^

 7. Kemaskan sisi.

Now, kembungkan bag anda. You will see something like this. ALmost done right?? ^_^

You all akan dapati lipatan sisi will be somehow not well defined. So, just press nicely according to the lines.

Then you'll get a well defined bag lines ^_^

 8. Hiaskan. Ini terpulang pada anda. Di sinilah anda boleh menjadi kreatif and mencipta keunikan :)

Last time, I just seal my bag with a ribbon. This is also a trick for a good finishing for the whole ensemble, also save time and cost! ^_^V 

*Tadi I ukur, my bag's measurement is about 11.5cm x 7cm (tapak), 23cm (height-unfold).

Gift packs Idea.More.

This blog has used to be a wedding blog (which I found is the least useful wedding blog ever?>.<).

Well, one of the thing I had and still passionate about is the doorgift packs:) 

Ok, cut the talk, let's go straight to the random ideas caught by me recently:)

I've been writing about hyakuen (100 en) shop in Japan since forever. I think they really awesome in producing creative giftpacks!>.< However, I took those which I think can be produced using raw materials easily found anywhere, thus lowering the total cost (yela kan..kita kan nak guna dalam kuantiti yang banyak:))

One pack consists of 3. If convert, this pack costs us about rm3.7  (but if using Japan en, of course terlalu murah).

So, what say you if we produce them ourselves. It's very simple yet practical and cute. You can paste or hang your Tq tag there. The gold ribbon really help giving the rich look. I never seen this style from the B2b blog before (or I just missed it:p yela..blogwlaking pun jarang T_T)
What you need: Brown paper bag (very cheap and can easily be found in bundle amount), gold rope (any kedai riben available), and self-designed tq-tag! 

I love the cuteness of these packs. Ok, I am biased..cz I always have a thing with satin ribbon:p Tapi kalau nak belikan dah mahal..this is so much easier and looks about the same with my own reception doorgift packs (unfortunately my OP missed it :/)

Here's the close up. What you need just self folded paper bag (which I stil owe you guys the step by step post T_T) and..satin ribbon or whatever ribbon of your likings :D.

I decided to refresh my memory starting the day I dumped my blog=p It was when I returned from Malaysia.
Hm..let's see..the first thing that I set up to post was..about the omiyage.
hehe..due to tight budget and limited weight that I could carry (T-T)..I decided to give cookie as omiyage (souvenirs).

Here they were!yes..were..abish already!Bet most of you guys could recognize this pineapple tart right??I love pineapple tarts. My husband too!!And this one..really oishii!!totemo oishii!!

However, in Japan, they really care about food presentation. It would be awkward for them if you hand them the tarts inside the container like that. For them it's not proper..so, I spent the weekend to pack them in nice, cute packs. The cute plastic bag can be found anywhere ..they use them regularly to pack things. You know..it's Japan..they love everything that's pretty even it's temporary. That's why Japan is famous as a country where you could find the cute small things that's rationally useless however irresistible T_T
Even I ended up buying lots of this small plastic bags cause I could not resist the cuteness T_T
No worries..they are all cheap=)
Oh..you haven't see the paper bag yet=p

I forgot to snap the picture of them after the packings. Or I did??=( Forgot already..
I could say that I was proud to hand them Malaysia no omiyage with nice wrappings=) hehe..
So, I guess good presentation really make a point there..it gives you confidence (that your omiyages are in good quality) and at the same time showing the sincerity.

So people, even your omiyage is not that expensive, presentations may help you in giving the good presumptions of the quality=p

Doily and brown paper bag

Konbanwa..

It was a hard day for me. Have to went through 24 hours knowing that person that I care was out enjoying snow without me T_T.. I waited for years to be united and enjoy our life together after sooo long. Never thought that when the time arrived, I am still stuck in the same condition T-T..I accept this fate and understands it as a way I pay for my sins.. (probably..). Hopefully, I will be able to do things that I have imagined for a veeerrryyy long time with him in no time. Pray for that=)

Oh well, what am I babbling here T_T sorry..

While on a mission of killing time, like always, I spend some time wandering around the malls..looking at always renewed rare items on the shelf of Japanese stores..hehe..and tell you..as days passed by, I met with even rare people..hehe

This is one thing that I found cute and cheap ideas for the doorgift packs ^_^

Brown paper bag which you could find everywhere and doily papers work wonders!!

I don't know you guys..but I certainly had thought about using brown paper bag for my receptions gifts. However, my mom didn't like it..so, I ended up folding my own pink paper bags T_T..

As my earlier days of browsing ideas for my 'cheap wedding', I came across with lots of ideas using this brown paper bag. I'm sure most of you guys also had seen it ^_^..But, I never seen the bags got improvised with doily papers!(or..I just missed it=p)

Love the string..left the pack with touch of vintage ^_^

Ehehe...Just got back from nihongo kurasu...

My gloominess became double just now cz..after long chat about wanting a baby last night, just now I check..it is indeed a false alarm "T_T..

Then, I stumbled upon a blog by Nini (I guess that's her name;p). Oh yeah, she introduced hersef as 'the bubblyme" from here.

She is looking for a material to do paper flowers.

Suddenly I remembered that I have seen the paper flowers tu and intended to post it here to share with the other b2bs.

Apparently I forgot, until I find out that some one is looking for it;p ahaha...

Okeh, my house..is like 2 minutes away from 100yen (hyakuen) shop. In this shop you'll find almost everything and 95% of it cost 100 yen. So cheap. Hence, 95% of my house is occupied with stuffs from there. ahaha..Just name it, and i can assure you that they came from the 100yen shop;p

Besides dustbins, scissor, towel, toothbrush..yadda2..which are listed in ur daily needs, hyakuen shop also sell the unthinkable stuff like this!

weee...yeah..it's flower paper;)comes in many colours. When you see closer, the flower is quite bushy and cute!Can be use as your deco for dulang hntrn or even as a corsage. However, I was thinking of something different like maybe...bunga manggar..oh yes, the bunga manggar will b tembam n bloom2..hehe

It's a DIY stuff..look at the instruction..not that difficult isn't it??one or two try outs, then you make 100 in no time;)

Oh well, of course you are not at all near to my house.

However, if you look closer to the instruction, it was actually just crepe paper folded into a fan..and kembang2 kan..cantula..hv to try n error..

err...if u guys nk kirim, I am delighted to b d vendor here;p

Aaa..I miss the moment of me DIY almost all my doorgifts;) the sakit pinggang tu priceless;p

Doorgifts for 'the day'.

Here's the post about the things that has contributed to my sakit pinggang and also lost of money T_T haha...don't worry..I sgt2 ikhlas=) just want the best for all the guests.

Part of the doorgifts T_T..huhu

So, I got three types of doorgifts. Yela..cannot afford to have one type kan..

The first one meant for the VIPs (VIPs for my kenduri means the other side of the family)

It was a small basket made of newspaper. Contained a tasbih, tat nenas and a muffin.

The mini basket with tq-tag attached. Aiseh..gelap pulak gamba T_Y

But of course la there's a few hundreds of the bakul. The remaining, I spared them for my close friends and relatives. Sorry for those who could only stare at the basket yeah T_T

The next doorgift was goodie bags. The bags that I bought were very simple. No names were printed out. Just what I have imagined so that I could tie a ribbon with my own tq-tag. Because of these bags la my pinggang lg nk tepatah. Even though people said that I was wasting my time my tying ribbons at paper bags which apparently will be thrown away, I didn't care!nk jugak!haha

The bags came in two colours; Gold and...

Yang lain2, supposedly dpt telur rebus dlm bekas songket..tp x cukop jugak=( so my mom cepat2 back up dgn bahulu kemboje..alhamdulillah..of course la no remnants;p

Being in research area for so long..my everyday language pon dh jadik sgt scientific..Gosh..I am no fun nymore T_T..
Btw, my doorgift ade pelbagai.y??becoz I cannot afford to buy them in a big quantities, therefore I have to mix them up. Another reason will be..to fullfill everybody's interest.

One of my doorgift which I had been wanting for so long was tat nenas.
Becoz of d tat was so gedabaks!only four pieces are fitted in a box. But, can do la.ahahha..

Cz Mr. lover suke sgt tart nenas.

But..I can't afford tat nenas (tambah2 yg saiz bengkak cani T_T)

Told my sister the dilemma...
And..she senyap2 bought many2 pieces (cannot tell d exact figures la=p) for me. yey!!

jari telunjuk n jari hantu telah pon melecur akibat gam tembak T_T

The truth is, my budget for doorgift mmg dah sgt lari.
Firstly, becos I didn't expect ribbons are that expensive..n I didn't expect we need like loads of loads of rolls for everything!
Secondly, I always have doubt whether..'are these enuf for everybody??' or 'wow, I wud luv to giv that out for my wedding'. Therefore, so far, I haven't yet decided on what I wud put inside the goodie bags. Plus, I have second thought to add some more of the goodie bags. Afraid there's people yg x dpt nnt. I don't want that to happen=(

So, I guess, another allocation that you guys must be very careful is the doorgifts.
And don't forget to give it with open heart with aim to share your happy day.

I've been in searching for pink paper bag for quite sometime. I'm asking for a pink..n must be plain. tp susah sgt nk jmpe=( everywhere ade corak2 yg for now xde lg yg bekenan T-T..huuu..actually, they were bukan x cantek..they are just out of my target..

So, i decided to fold them mysef!
Alhamdulillah..the job is quite easy...i target to finish folding all in 3 nights. InsyaAllah..

Telur is my wajib doorgift. I have to give out telor cz my mom insisted to do so. But, insyaAllah..i'll also gives out something else to add to the telur..insyAllah...almaklumlah..bajet kecik t_T..

Ok, again, becz of bajet kecik..i cannot dream of having fancy bekas telur. I could only chose based on the price. So, here's the bekas telur that u'll get nnt;) tp..x cukop T_T..hv to go find at other branches later. Pray la supaye other branches ade stock T_T..

30 minutes catch from W-Exhibition, MV

Went to wedding exhibition at d MV exhibition centre.
Oh, I alwiz lov to go on friday cz less sesak..n my mud will b better (remmber, cz I'm not a bridezilla=p).

I don't really know my intention here. Just wanted to scare mysef a bit about my decision (xde keje=p). even though i already knew the f-ness of my w-planner T_T..

eh..still..I was looking for doorgifts and also d paper bags (sume yg bekaitan doorgifts la).

Usually, I don't find wedding exhibition that useful to me. But somehow, I did find this time around interesting. The bajus are all gojes this time. The gojesness first of all came from RinsSuzana. The bajus wer all gojes la i tell u. menyesal pulak x xurvey kt dorang suggoh2 T_T

Depan RinsSuzana tu ade booth laksa shack??erkk..no..they are providing pulut kuning service (to replace tiers cake) which are getting popular these days..take a look at some of d collections which I love=)

This was made of .8.5kg pulot..byknye..i just ingat nk buat sendiri 3 tiers pulut kuning made of 5kgs=( huuu..xleh2..
see..they put roses..fresh tau..mesti mkn pulot ade rase rose sket=p

If x suke tibe2 ade bunge ros tu..try this. I think this one is nicer..they decorate it with edible decos (i mean yg comaptible with pulut kuning taste). In the middle tu rendang tok..
the price is rm270 (rm20 more thn d above pulut kuning..)


If you wud like to try different thing, go for pulut hijau!erkk...don't worry..this pulut is still gud..they r still x expired=p hahah

for me, i wud say..no no..cz v do pulut kuning cz it is kuning aite??err..i dono.wont go for this definitely. oh, the red thingy tu is pulut oso. They r coloured with rose colouring. rm255 kot..i cant remember=p

Besides this, I alwiz love to see baju. Oh, I wish I am tall so that baju will not b an issue=(

I just remembered (dan2la nk remember kan..)..I have ordered a berkat a.k.a doorgift from this kompeni-->Berkat DN Enterprise. They provide bahulu, kek n so on so on yg mmg mknn org melayu la..(nk tau lebih lanjut..bole la lawat website dorang)

Everytime I go to wedding kan...I alwiz looking forward to get either a very soft cake, or soft bahulu (bkn yg ade perise2 la..i prefer d plain one) or kerepeks yg bes gle mkn sambil beborak. yg kek2 n kueh mueh yg penting mesti soft. Cz selalu dpt yg keras mcm batu bole baling ke dinding. i alwiz question my mom y do they hv to bake such a keras kueh that is not pleasure to eat????My mom said the purpose is to keep the kueh thn lame..=| Whaterever...tp ade je i dpt lembut.n loving it!

As I know I lov such a kuih muih n kerepeks, I was planning to give that as our berkat for my wedding. But that's just a plan. Let's just wait n see (cz I changed d ideas like everyday=p) ngahaha..

One of my auntie would like to sponsor berkat from BERKAT DN tu..so, let's see how it taste. I never tried their product lg. In this case, xpela..dh org bg. Alhamdulilllah....Called the owner (x ingat name la skrg T-T), n d order was made (yesh!with one simple phone call!). I like cz the procedure pon senang..order..nnt die anta kt umah, n v pay.alahai..senang sgt.

Diary of a bride's maid

Salam ladies..

Sudah lame tak berblog. hehe..it's because I was not in the mood for writing;p Now, I think that I need to write about this one. My experience as the bride's maid;) People said that being a bride's maid for many times may cause us to lambat kawen..hmm..Can v believe in that?I dah jadi bride's maid quite many times dah. haha..until people called me the girl in 27dresses. Still, insyaAllah, my day will arrive in no time soon;) Jodoh tu sume ketentuan dariNya.

Last week, of course la kite sume ade byk wedding kene attend. I will always choose not to attend wedding yg outside KL, except if car pool la. but for this one, located in Ipoh, I have got to attend because I am the bride's maid;) Bertolak dr rumah at 530am. And reach there at 8. The furthest destination yg i penah drive kot.haha..Lucky me, x jem.

Ok, gamba ni, saje nk highlight the cake, d the pedang. Nampak x??It was actually pedang samurai (yesh!Im serious!). Pedang Samurai real punya..Made in Japan. The bride has 10 pedangs like this. Haha..
Sejarahnye, the pair ni, belaja kt Jepun dulu..so, sume nye ade kaitan ngan Jepon la..haha..tp malangnye..I couldn't captured the moment they cut d cake using d pedang T_T
