BIL got married

I told my friend that I cannot make it on this one Sunday sebab my BIL is getting married.

He replied..who is Bil??

I was like...face palm:|

Therefore, pre note here..BIL means..brother in law:|

My return to Malaysia in the last summer was not purely for raya..

Some part of it was because, the brother in law is getting married.

Well, we have heard about him wanted to settle down for so long...hehe..even before I got married:p 

Finally the day arrived...

Cut the story short, let`s start with the solemnization.

The akad and reception were held in one place, different hall. Therefore, overall all events were for me, done really nicely. If there`s any hiccups, I, as the guest of the day didn`t really seem to notice. For me, it was one perfect solemnization event. I was so happy for both of them.

The bride. She had the seri. She was wide smiling all day!

Three of the above are just few hantaran from her. I am so liking it >.< I guess it was solely due to the red roses and malay elements injected to it..Yeah..I am biased like that:P

Some of the hantaran for her. Our side chose purple as the theme with pink as additional flavor. All hantaran consist of expensive items >.< !!

Seriously..I couldn`t fit the whole dais in one screen...Dais was tremendously pretty!!

As I was just about to eat, my phone rang. My brother already downstairs waiting for me. I gotta rush to see my love:)

Murasaki to ao wedding theme

Konnichiwaaa...

I remember..people usually think of wedding theme as 1 color. But nowadays, everything has changed whereby people came out with a more daring color palette, combining rare colours together as one theme. But seriously all to me came out sooo beautiful.hehe..hence I had never been able to decide on my own wedding theme..yeah..reason for my wedding without color palette or..theme..one thing I was sure that time..i want red roses as main deco=p

Like other brides of this era, my sister also combining two main colors as her wedding theme..

They are murasaki (purple) and ao (blue) ^_^..typical sister!combining two sweet colors together..(I know..she's trying too hard to run away from pink=p)

Oh well..my sister did so much for my wedding..Known as the poorest sibling (in financial), she did helped me a lot in a way that visible to me or not. I am sure there were so much more that she did without me knowing that. So, I determined to at least sponsor something for her wedding! ahaha..

I was back home 1 week earlier than her wedding date in order to help her in wedding prep. My husband was back a day before the ceremony..hence the ability to give my full service for the wedding prep. Even so, we still failed to pull out the plans perfectly as per discussed.

Also, I didn't know about her wedding dress, dais and whatsoever. All she find it herself with the husband. Knowing how she likes to waste her money=p haha...I thought she'll pull something that stunning with unreasonable price! but turned out...she chose a very simple wedding!

*Actually the money mostly gone for 'the stuff' that she can keep after the wedding T_T..* bahaha..

The bunga telur..she made them herself. I think total cost for one flower was about rm8. She used all fine synthetic flowers..but still..mahal T_T..The doorgift bag. They were silver bags and newspaper basket (for lucky guests)

The setting

Arrival of the lovebirds..Oh, I love her dress...coz the kain was chiffon! So it flows! The w-boutique didn't even use the fine wedding lace for the dress..it was just a plain white lace which then improvised with loads of manik!it looked much more 'lavish' than my dress (which uses fine wedding lace T_T)Oh..nothing..I just love the picture=p looking at me functioning there=p ahaha..

oh, that's my engagement's dress..finally..I got reason to get into that dress again ^_^

Me with my sister feeling touched. Finally we are moving on=) Good luck to us. May we get older happily in the side of men that we love. Really hope I'll have a new niece or nephew when i get back home after this=)

I was actually bringing my very own personal photographer that day (hubby T_T)..but I failed to get all the copies as he was busy T_T..therefore, the stolen pictures from my cousin's fb T_T..hehe..sorry yazid=p

Losing a person who cares so much about her back then. In fact she thinks that her sister was the only person that care about her and took care of her more than a mother could do. My theme

Yes, another update for today. Determined to only write after finish kemas all the luggages.

And here, I am sitting in front of the laptop writing for u while all the bajus are all around me=p ahaha..

There's a lot for me to update.

Hmm..again, I don't know where to start.

I think let's start with the basic part, i.e. the theme.

Most of my friends guessed my theme wud b pink since my invitation card was pink in colour=p ahaha..(can't resist to have pink).

But, my theme was ....

Creme + Balck +red (flowers)

I don't know whether this combination is common or not.

Coz many of my relatives said my colour 'nampak pelik' T_T

How did I came out with this theme?

It's all started cz I love red roses. They are my favorite flowers.

So, many people wud choose to have white to go with the red so that everything are looking romantic.

How can I make a difference with these red roses?

So, I chose the opposite of white (which is black) and creme (cz since forever I wanted a creme wedding dress). The creme will synchronize the pelamin with my

dress.

*Conclusion: I decided on my theme based on my favorite flowers=)

However, my pelamin x siap T_T..you can see rite the both sides of the pelamin was left hanging. I could not believe at 11am they were still installing the pelamin T_T...This w-planner shud b blacklisted!

Besides that, look at the top of the pelamin. The hanging flowers w

ere so hideous!they shud b fresh flowers hanging, man!!!I was so pissed when I saw the pelamin (yes, the first time I saw the pelamin was when I walked into the dewan as the bride!I didn't have a chance to complaint or asked them to make ammendments!)

But, I just chilled. Smile and walk to the pelamin yg x siap=(

The Red Wedding pule!

haha..this will b the forth post of d day..haha..I just got so many ideas suddenly (dikale kerja2 terbengkalai ye..)

Ok, I just showed u ols how the orange wedding looked like. It looks delicious rite??
The next day, I went to a wedding in Bkt Beruntung. I was d bride's maid=) again..haha (the best part, I cud eat at meje penantin ^_^).
The theme was red. I think the mother has succeeded to pull out a very well planed wedding la..very smooth n under control. Tahniah makcik!haha..
I arrived there at 1130 together with pengapit laki..(haiya..me with him..asek kene tanye bile nk kawen..they thought v r actually a couple..mls nk jwb dah..ckp "insyaAllah' je everytime..haha).
When I arrived, the perantin tgh make up..Inilah hasilnye..taraaa..haha..the mak andam is perempuan n so nice. she asked d perantin to call her frens and ask about d make up whether anything she cud do to improve d look.hm..first time i found MUA yg humble begini.

The bride yg actually tgh pns pakai songket..haha. But I love songket T-T

During cake cutting ceremony. Even though d pelamin setting was simple, but for me it was cute n sufficient. It really shows 'less is more'. The colour pon npk sexy;p

The bunga telor yg my mom nampak tros diserang histeria..sorry mak..I have already bought my bunge telor..haha

Last one, perantins, me n my partners in crime;p I just knew these two fellas..tp in one day dah bukak pekung di dada masing2..haha..Thank you Allah for giving me the opportunity to meet these two wonderful people. God bless!

The Orange wedding!

Again, another post of d day=pOkeh, last weekend I'm sure everybody was busy attending wedding rite?I got 10 invitations T_T But I chose to just attend 1 at a day. Becoz..yg laen2 tu jauh sgt..I do not want my mom to be worried. The week before that I was driving to Ipoh alone. Can U guys imagine how worried she was??Dahla darah manis..Alhamdulillah, I was fine.

Btw, this post is dedicated to one of my best friend back in Samura (Science Muar Royal Academy). She was my classmate and also my dormmate. What's more, we r jiran katil lg.haha..so, cn u imagine how close v r??The nikah was held on a rainy cold Friday. The weather that I love to be in. I arrived quite late la..Tok kadi tgh bg ceramah.haha..sorry yani.was stucked in d traffic=( We alwiz expect d nikah ceremony will be associated with nanges2 session n all. But this one, we were laughing like crazy cz d Tok Kadi was so funny n d knowing d bride, making d session funnier.hahaha..bet Squarecutring and Vanilla and peppermint understand what I am saying=p

Personally, I was so touched seeing her been taken away.Bet it will b difficult for us to berjoyah lg T_T Here's the moment captured=)

The reception was held on d next day, on a cool rainy day. Murah rezeki nampaknye pengantin kite ni.hehe..The theme was orange. Sgtla npk sedap segale2nye sbb oren..haha..d colour mmg suit dgn her skin colour. Take a look at below pic. See d make up??flawless..d baju also custom made. It's french lace ye kwn2. She has the seri ^_^ wish that I will have d seri too T_T

The pelamin was set outside the house. Under the kemah. Orange juge.. They place all d hantarans di kiri n kanan pelamin for people to see. But if u want to do like this, u must have somebody to guard this hntrn k..nnt kene rompak pulak=p

Inside was moist choco cake ^_^ I dont really into cake. But, bile mkn sambil2 borak2 with old2 frens, cake tu jd lebih sedap;)

Lastly, I would like to put the pictures of me n my old frens who had together attending this orange wedding. Only god knows how much I miss U guys T_T (Really miss the high school moment=[)I wish my wedding will went smoothly like hers;

Last week, I had a B2B meeting..haha (its not actually, I said so all of us happend to get married this year=])..We hadn't talk so much about our prep..but..weird..I think we had so much fun talking about New Zealand=p Nevertheless, I think everybody would like it to b a secret kot..some of the thing they would like to reveal it on the 'day' itsef. One of my friend insisted to know my wedding and also my e-day's theme. For the wedding, I really dont have any theme. I just have everything according to their best colour in my eyes. haha..So, they wont be all d same (eg:pelamin kale oren, bunge pahar juge oren..). Don't worry folks, mine would b so simple and reproducible=p

For the e-day, the theme wud b blue. Its not that I love blue, n wanted blue for d e-day eversince. The reason was I have fallen in love with d blue chiffon in Gulatis. I didn't fell for it instantly though. I think that's d best colour available on their rack=( So, everything right now will b made in blue. Tht's how I got my theme. I know, blue is typical=(

Most of my friend said that I wud have a pink theme for my e-day or my wedding day. They said it so confidently. I keep denying my special interest for pink. But as I open my wardrobe, yesh..u'll see ranges of pink=p (no2..i still not into pink that much..this was just coincindence=p)
So folks, my e-day would not b in pink, but blue (more typical than they had guessed T_T)..

Will it b a pelamin for my e-day??In my previous entry I mentioned about how wasteful it was to have a pelamin on e-day??I still not agree to this, but yesh, there will b pelamin on my e-day T_T..but, i agree to hv one because it wont hurt me in anyway pon (d pelamin will b sponsored=p)..the one who insisted to have one, of course la mr.bf yg katenye nk buat simple2 but he said this : ape2 pon I nk pelamin..(die ingat die agaknye yg nk besanding kt ats tu T_T) BUt I know, he wanted everything to be beautiful 4 me=)

The theme

Assalamualaikum..

I think I have to put on this topic as well. Coz I found it one of a difficult task to be achieved especially for someone who's like me (I mean, d one who doesn't have wedding of her dream T_T).

I always a simple person (except for what I wore everyday=p). I always simplify things in my life (That's y I chose to further study as high as possible so that I can go to work at 10am and be back at 3pm=p haha..). To be honest, I have never once been thinking about how my wedding gona be for the past 25 years of my life. It was because I have so many other things to think of. I have tried to think of what colours are gona b for my wedding day. But my mind would tell my heart to hold on first, that's gona b so long before I have to think of it (my brain said).So, now because everything happens so sudden, I was so 'tak tau' what colour shud I pick T_T d time is ticking n I did change my color theme after every ticks T_T. Damn!!

I did browse brides.com. Initially to help me designing my wedding dress, but then I found it helpful as it also providing examples of d themes. What's more interesting, how can all these western people could pulled out a very nice wedding scene??All the colour, d flowers arrangements are so stunning. They usually dont put on one colour for their wedding. They alwiz combining colours and flowers. Here are a few theme in my list that I was considering for my wedding.
Due to some circumtances, these themes r not gona b in any of my reception (biasela..kene ikut ckp org tue..).Its ok, as long as we can folow what they want, we just follow..InsyaAllah..everything will be fine=) But, so far, with their helps n ideas everything kind of easier for us=)

The question will be..what will be d colour theme for my wedding??hehe...it will b kept mystery, until d day arrive. (until now, d writer still hasn't decide d colour yet=|)

p/s:For you guys out there who are still teenager (haha..) I think you should start thinking of d colour la..
